When I think of the nineties, I think of cycling shorts, leggings, big scrunchies. Ah, the good old nineties. I was born in the eighties, but grew up in the nineties. I possessed a hairband with my name on it. I also possessed bucked teeth. Not a very fashionable era.
However, this not-very-fashionable era is alive and kicking. Baby G watches are back! Who knew? Certainly not me. I know, how ignorant. Satchels are back. I used to have a satchel; a big red one that I used to carry school books in. It was loved and abused, equally.
Tartan. Question: Did anyone ever have to wear a tartan skirt in school? If you say yes, well poor you. I never did. So, when I look at tartan, I just see tartan and not memories of stuffy classrooms and teachers who would eye the length of said skirt, 'is that skirt rolled up?' Pull it back down. Tartan is tacky enough. Amen to that.

I had a hair band with my name on it too, and thought it was so cool and brilliant! Unfortunately had to wear a tartan skirt in school which wasn't flattering or in any way nice. Always wanted a Baby G watch and never quite got there but I remember eyeballing them in shops alright :)
