The Not-So-Secret Garden.

I am speechless. No, sorry, I am wordless. A few hours ago, I saw quite possibly the most flamboyant, luxurious, over-the-top, feminine catwalk, I have seen in ages. I just had to share it with you. Who am I talking about? Christian Dior fronted by John Galliano, as if you didn't guess!

So, to gather a few words from my 'wordless' brain, I want to share my thoughts about this Christian Dior Haute Couture Autumn/ Winter 2010-2011 collection. I am sure that you have gathered from my 'wordless-ness' that I am totally in awe of this collection. From the Cone head (with hair obviously) hair-styles, to the alien style cellophane wrapped around the models hair, this garden themed show is a lesson in inspiration.

There was over-the-top ball gowns with loads and loads of tulle, there was red teamed with white, black and grey. Purple, strong blue, pink and black all came marching down the wanna be garden path, aka the catwalk. There was pretty, girly, flowery dresses, that would even win over the staunchest of black lovers.

There was cashmere, tulip skirts, high but beautiful heels in this show. There was ruffles, there was flowers. Nothing nicer than a flower, I say. Jessica Alba thinks this also, by stating that "I would be happy to be any flower in John Galliano’s garden." You know what Jessica Alba? I follow your lead!

If I am ever down in the dumps, I know that I will only have to look at this collection and be cheered up immediately. Oh Dior, Oh Galliano, I love you so. J'adore vous!

I am going back to my wordless-ness state to look some more at the collection. Like flowers in a real garden, I can't get enough of these man-made flowers in a very modern, exotic yet traditionalist garden.

Beautiful, Citric colours make for a very exotic garden.

A Tulip for a Tulip.

Beautiful, elegant flowers. Rosy-Posy.

Look at the detailing. Haute Couture at its finest.

Strong, dominant makes for a modern yet traditional garden.

What do you think of this Haute Couture collection?

Wasn't this one of the most amazing shows. I have watched it a few times already. The last pieces was a showstopper. This is why Dior is one of my all time favourites. They never disappoint.

i adore the tulle & the gaudy colours! hmmmm, a number of frocks were quite marvellous although a little too tacky for my liking!

I love how the colored cellophane lends to the candy-like confections of this collection.

This is by far Galliano's best haute couture in a few years!

SO SO beautiful and fantastical. Like a walk into a child's dream. I have HUGE respect for the art and construction of couture and I always love that the shock accessories can be stripped down and bit and John succeeds in providing us with wearable stunning pieces....eg. the tulip collection.

I probably just looked at the collection an hour ago, and i was in total awe! I was just thinking how mind-blowing the collection was. I praise about Galliano to all my friends, because I find him to be so talented and so detailed oriented.

This is what makes me love Fashion

My jaw literally dropped. I haven't had a chance to look at any of Couture collections, but omygawd, this is exquisite. Did it just come out? College has literally drained all my passion for couture show with its dreadful finals, projects, and midterms. This makes me want to revive that passion again. Omygod.

Whoa every outfit is gorgeous and stunning. I love the flower print dresses! Those elaborate headdresses are incredible and those tulle dresses are to die for. I'm glad you felt the same way about the finals... ugh sad and disappointing.
