Rhythm is a Dancer...

Diamonds and Pearls and Rubies

When I was younger, I used to dream out yonder,
of real diamonds and pearls and rubies,
of beautiful Jewellery.
This always made me so, very happy.

Now, I am older,
I am so much more bolder and a little bit wiser.
Jewellery is still my life,
but in order to cause less strife (in my financial life),
real diamonds and pearls and rubies are out of the question.
But, I am still very, very happy.

I thought a poem would be a nice way to start the coming of the weekend, and it is relevant. (Sorry if it is a bit cheesy...I wrote it in five minutes!). I love Jewellery, what's more I love cheap Jewellery. But, If I could afford expensive Jewellery, I would probably buy it. But, nothing beats the high street for up-to-date pieces. I love Topshop for Jewellery, Accessorize (fairly pricey for some of the stuff in there though!), Primark usually has some hidden gems, Oasis, H&M...and so get the idea!

Here is a collection of some of my Jewellery...

All of the pieces above are affordable, but they are of massive sentimental value to me. I love them all!

As for rings? I really don't want to show you my very pathetic collection of rings. I am a fiddler (not of the violin variety), so if I am bored or nervous whenever I wear a ring, I twist it round and round my finger. All. The. Time. I drive myself mad! So, I tend to stay away from rings. However, I wouldn't say no to a diamond ring...haha.

What type of Jewellery do you prefer? Hope ye all have a fantastic weekend!
