Falling Gifts

One of the things that I love about Christmas, are Christmas Windows. I was in Paris around this time last year and I just couldn't stop looking at the beautifully accessorised windows in Galeries Lafayette. Galeries Lafayette is the ultimate store for fashionista's, foodies etc, anyway, but those Christmas windows add that something special.  You just don't get that sort of grandeur where I come from.  Pure entertainment, that costs nothing!

Do you like Christmas windows, as mush as I do? Where have you seen the best decorated windows?

Amazing - I love the gingerbread man with the parcel in the second picture. I remember being in Cologne for Christmas once and the whole city was like one huge Christmas display, it was great! Failing that, the Brown Thomas windows are a great source of window escapism.

Wow, those are amazing. There is a big store near me that does a walk through of christmas set-ups. it is so hard to explain. It's christmas trees, themed displays, and at the end is always a nativity scene. It's all indoors, and they go all out. They have a set up for Easter as well. It's free, but we usually end up buying something from the store. The store has toys, candy, trinkets, decor, it's really really big.

Beautiful!! I wished our christmas decoration are as nice as yours. I've seen a really nice Christmas Decor when i was in Shanghai 2 years ago, they made huge glittery gift boxes and place them on a long slopping stairs leading up to this huge Christmas tree :)

I absolutely love Christmas-themed windows, they add so much to the Christmas atmosphere! I think the ones you just posted are lovely! Sadly, I haven't seen any really nice ones around here. I hear that they go all out in New York though, I would love to be there one December.
