The Goddess Guide

I don't know about you, but I am quite obsessed with 'how to books.' Don't know how to walk in high heels? It's okay gals, just read the ehhhh, aptly named 'How to Walk in High Heels.' Are you (like me) a Goddess wannabe? Then the Goddess Guide and the Goddess Experience are the books for you.

After finishing college a few months ago, I was certainly not a Goddess. I was more of a slob-ess of the laziness variety. Goddesses take pride in their appearance. I let my hair grow all long and scraggly, I didn't care about painting my nails. However, you will be glad to know, ever since I got a job, I am slowly, but surely getting my mojo back. And today, the hairdresser hacked several inches off my hair and I love it!

Here are my tips on how to be a Goddess in the making:

1. Buy a pair of heels and yes, they are of the chunky heeled variety.

Heels from New Look.

2. Buy some statement necklaces, but just beacuse they look very glamourous, that doesn't mean they cost a lot. Cheap and cheerful!

L-R: Necklaces from Primark, Hand Painted & Primark.

3. Paint your nails in this season's colours. Rich, cool and dark polishes? Check!

Nailpolishes from Rimmel and Boots No.7.

What do you do to make you feel more like a Goddess?

I love myself some light how to books and all...though there is one my flatmate has, a "how to chanel" thing...and it's terrible.
I'm a bit in love with those polishes

I want to read some of those books! The only book I read like that was the Rachel Zoe from A-Zoe and I hated it.
I totally agree with you on the nail-polish thing. I feel instantly better with freshly painted nails...and they're something people notice more than you would think!

Painting my nails and shaping my brows tend to help me feel like a goddess. But they pale in significance when compared to smiling. I must say i'm a complete slob as well, and i have to get my game on once the holidays come in 3 weeks time. I too, want to feel like an absolute goddess

I would LOVE to read one of those books. I read everything because I am going to be an English major, so which one would you recommend?
something that makes me feel like a goddess is this crepe maxi dress I have, eating divine foods, drinking luxurious hot tea and floral blazers.
<3thanks for visiting, love your blog!
