Olivia Palermo is the queen of gilets. A gilet is perfect for the in between October weather. Cold, but not freezing. Actually, who am I kidding? The weather is freezing. I'm taking inspiration from Palermo on how to layer with a gilet. She is, after all, a gilet genius!

Without a doubt, the three main stars who shone at the fashion shows and awards ceremony were Jessica Alba, Claire Danes and Olivia Palermo. The designer who shone? Valentino, in my opinion.
